Beach House For Two
Fall 2015 | Studio | Micro Dwelling
For this project, I was given free range for the site. So I created a site that has a large private plot along a beach that is very close to the ocean. I then moved to the design process of creating a micro dwelling. This process took up majority of my time during the project because I had to do a fair amount of research. For example, because this is a tiny home, there is no need for separate rooms. So the challenge was, how do you make this tiny home fit cohesively together, but still give a sense of privacy. After three weeks of working on this design, I came up with a home that would sleep two people, and accommodate up to six guests. The drawings are hand drafted and rendered in Photoshop. The views are created in a collage format put together using Photoshop.
