Scissors Re-purposed
Fall 2014 | Representation | New Tool
In my first representation class at Drexel University, the assignment was to take a tool that is used everyday and transform it into something new. The tool I chose was a pair of scissors. I started by hand drafting the scissors, then moved to putting the different pieces of the scissors in a new layout, and finally I shaded the new tool to give it a sense of materiality. This new tool has a metal hook and scrapper, so it would be an excellent devise for someone who works in dentistry.
